The Third Man

What qualifies me to be able to review movies? Well, I love movies and I feel like talking about them.

Of course, you can easily find tons of “actual” reviews and commentary. My comments are strictly about my personal reactions. I’ll try to keep them brief. And the score will always be a factor.

I thought that my first movie chat should be about a “10”! And that’s what The Third Man is…a 10! I was glued to it from the first to the last frame. I felt like I was experiencing moving art.  The cinematography, acting, mood, detail…all amazing.

The score…oh, what a wondrous experience. The sound of the zither by Anton Karas was so repeatedly unexpected…even though I’ve been listening to it forever. Brilliant! Joyous!

I can’t wait to watch/hear to it again.

See? Brief!

Stay tuned…and thanks!
