12 Daily Warm-up Exercises

Opus 7 is comprised of 12 etudes in 12

keys for daily guitar warmup. I have

been developing this project for several

years. The studies are are in various

styles from jazz to bluegrass to classical.

They are loaded with shifting technique

practice on all fingers, and, in the spirit of

my teacher and mentor, Bill Leavitt, they

are riff with "curve balls"! I play them

every day.

It's time for me to write 12 more!

The Vault contains John's unique audio library collected over

many years of being a professional musician.

Berklee Visit

During a trip to Berklee College

of Music in Boston, my alma

mater, I got to spend some

time with Larry Baione, Chair of

 the Guitar Dept. and

 successor to William Leavitt. A

 most inspiring visit!

The 2nd installment of the Vault has

been released!

This edition features a continuation of the radio interview from the debut program, but this time the surprise phone guest will be my old friend, the incredible Tony Rice!

I know you're going to dig what Tony has to say. And, of course, there will be a few musical selections from my personal archive.

Thanks for all your great responses to The Vault

Check out these new guitar fingerboard templates in the shop. Great for notating scales, chords, arpeggios and ideas.
